Phra Ae Public Health Park
Description
Concrete steps run along the sand at Phra Ae, giving Long Beach one of its easiest places to sit with a drink, watch the horizon change colour, and avoid getting sand in every possession you own.
The promenade is short, flat and shaded by pines, with enough room for a walk, run, scooter lap or roller skates. A ramp reaches the beach beside the steps, and there are toilets, showers, accessible facilities and scooter parking close by.
Call it a beach access park, because “Health Park” promises gym kit that simply isn’t there. The football ground exists, while the playground looks tired and the park itself is more concrete, trees and open space than a proper activity hub.
Use it for the southern end of Long Beach, especially near sunset. Grab a picnic table or perch on the sea steps; the long shoreline leaves plenty of space to spread out, while the water can turn rocky underfoot.
