Description
Grandma’s Thai breakfast and fresh mango are the sort of detail that turns a cheap Long Beach guesthouse into somewhere you keep extending. Baiyok House has large, clean rooms, working air-con, and a shared lounge that feels built for recovering from ferries, sunburn, and questionable island planning.
The communal kitchen is stocked with tea, coffee, snacks, cold drinking water, a fridge and a kettle. It is close to Long Beach, with restaurants nearby, and the house can arrange island trips, transfers, laundry and scooter rental without sending you on a treasure hunt across Phra Ae.
Scooters are well kept, and the family can give nervous first-timers a quick lesson before handing over the keys. The building has proper guesthouse scale, relaxed, and far more personal than another row of identical bungalows.
Choose a road-facing room only if traffic noise does not bother you. Upper-floor rooms have good views, but there is no lift and the stairs multiply with surprising enthusiasm.
