Description
Poolside rooms, a refill-water station and scooter hire on site make Tum Mai Kaew a practical base for roaming Koh Lanta without turning every small errand into a transport puzzle. The pool sits among green grounds, with balconies or small terraces outside the rooms.
Rooms are spacious, modern and properly equipped for longer stays: air-con, fridge, kettle, hot water and comfortable beds. Some rooms include a kitchen, which matters after day three of restaurant menus and heroic amounts of fried rice.
Aoi and Nicolas can sort island transport, boat trips, laundry, massage and scooters from reception. There is a small restaurant beside the resort, and the coffee has a strong local following.
The west-coast beaches, shops and sunset restaurants are a short scooter ride away. On foot, the road and heat become part of the itinerary, so hire a bike and use the resort as the calm, green reset button between beach runs.
