The Guu Villas
Description
Rooftop yoga with Phi Phi and the Andaman in view is a fairly convincing excuse to delay leaving the villa. The Guu Villas puts its strongest cards upstairs: broad sea views, generous entertaining space, and a rooftop lounge built for long breakfasts or a sunset drink.
Inside, the design is sharp without becoming a showroom nobody can relax in. Large master bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, full kitchens and air-conditioning in every room suit longer stays as well as a proper holiday. Families can add the separate studio opposite for two extra bedrooms, which solves the eternal holiday question of where everyone is going to sleep.
The shared pool, gym, trampoline and spa keep the compound useful on slower days. Breakfast and freshly cooked Thai food can be sent back to the villa from the bar and restaurant, leaving the kitchen free for coffee, fruit and whatever survived the supermarket run.
The beach, restaurants and bars sit within walking distance, while the villa works as a base for diving and island days. Book this for a family or a group that values space, privacy and an actual kitchen; the rooftop is far too good to waste on a one-night stop.
