Description
Hammocks hang outside the bungalows, two minutes from Long Beach along a small dirt track through the trees. Raven Blue is for travellers who want beach access without sleeping beside the road or inside a nightclub’s bass bin.
The rooms are modern, clean and properly equipped for a longer stay: cold air-con, hot showers, fridges, mosquito nets, dark curtains and comfortable beds. Garden greenery, resident cats and the occasional chicken give the compact property a pleasantly lived-in feel.
Breakfast is the food worth paying attention to, with fresh pancakes, eggs, vegetables and fruit in generous portions. Refillable drinking water sits by the restaurant area, which saves a small mountain of plastic bottles over a week.
