Description
Garden-facing bungalows, a short walk from the beach, are the point of Rasa Sayang. The grounds stay quiet and leafy, with enough space between villas to avoid the usual suitcase-to-suitcase holiday intimacy.
Rooms are spacious, tidy and comfortably simple, with proper beds and private garden outlooks. This is a small Koh Lanta resort for reading on a terrace, disappearing to the sand, then walking up to the main road for dinner. Luxury hunters should spend elsewhere; this place does calm far better than polished.
Breakfast is included and stays basic, with fruit, familiar buffet staples and a rotating Thai dish. There is no restaurant on site, so dinner means the nearby road or a scooter ride further along the coast.
Scooter rental, laundry, transfers and tour arrangements are handled on site, which saves a surprising amount of holiday faff. Bring mosquito repellent for the bungalow, especially after dark; the garden is lovely, and insects have also noticed.
