Pana Long Beach Resort
Description
A hammock on each bungalow terrace, a waterfall pool under fruit trees, and Long Beach a short walk down the lane: Pana has sorted the bits that matter.
Fourteen modern bungalows sit around the garden and pool, with roomy bathrooms, kitchenettes, smart TVs and air-conditioning. Beds are properly comfortable, and the terraces are made for reading, napping, or staring at a palm leaf as though it has revealed something important.
The setting is quiet without putting dinner on another continent. Beach restaurants are nearby, the main road is close enough for supplies and scooter hire, and the resort can arrange island transport. It suits travellers who want to spend half the day at Long Beach and the other half floating in a pool without a soundtrack of beach-club bass.
Pana feels more like a small garden stay than a standard resort block. Couples, solo travellers and anyone staying several nights will get more from the kitchenette, porch and calm layout than a one-night dash through Koh Lanta. The pool’s waterfall and shaded loungers are the correct answer after a hot scooter loop around the island.
