Manao Villa
Description
Private pools, broad decks and upstairs sunset balconies are the point at Manao Villa, especially in the numbered houses facing the coast. Villa 33 has a fine perch for the last light, with enough outdoor seating to spread out without negotiating armrests.
The interiors are spacious, clean and properly decorated. Kitchens and utilities function, so longer stays do not become a small expedition into improvised living.
Klong Khong Beach sits a short walk away, while motorbike rental, 7-Eleven and several restaurants are close enough to keep the logistics painless. The central island position also puts both Saladan and the southern beaches within easy reach by scooter.
Moti runs the place with the sort of practical local help that matters when arranging island basics. Families and small groups get the most from the private pool, multiple terraces and separate bedroom space; the steep stairs to upper bedrooms make it a poor fit for anyone unsteady on steps.
