Description
The beachfront villas put you metres from Pra-Ae’s long sweep of sand, with a sea-facing pool, proper loungers and enough space to spend an afternoon doing very little with considerable skill.
Book the beachfront, seaview or lagoon side of the property. The villas lean Thai in style, with generous balconies, separate bathrooms and the useful room details: fridge, safe, tea and coffee, hairdryer, and daily water and snacks. Beds are notably comfortable, which matters after a day on a scooter exploring the south.
Breakfast has Thai dishes alongside Western staples, and Escape Cafe handles the caffeine gap between breakfast and sunset. The beachfront restaurant, beach massage pavilions, live music and fire shows keep evenings close to home without turning the grounds into a circus. The beach bar does cocktails with the sort of sea view that makes a second one seem like sound judgement.
Garden Zone cottages sit nearer the road and lack the setting of the beachside accommodation. Spend the extra on a villa facing the water; Long Beach is the whole point here.
