The pool has a shallow children’s section and a deeper middle section, so families can linger without turning every swim into lifeguard training. Balconies look over the water, air-conditioning handles the sticky months, and motorcycle hire is on site for exploring Old Town or the national park.
Breakfast keeps things basic, with Thai and Western choices. The beach restaurant across the road covers easy lunches, beach views and the useful Thai-food-to-burger menu that saves everyone from a group holiday tribunal.
Rooms are plain, dated and practical, with older furnishings in parts of the property. The location does the persuasive work: sand is two minutes away, shops and food are close, and the resort can arrange pier transfers and island trips. Limited parking means scooters make far more sense here.
