Description
The big pool is the strongest card here: proper space to cool off, sun loungers nearby, and none of Long Beach’s sand following you back to bed. Dorm bungalows are spread around the grounds, so it feels quieter than the usual row of bunks and charging cables.
Beds are budget territory, with air conditioning, en-suite toilets, hot showers and a basic breakfast. The dorm rooms are roomy enough to avoid the full submarine experience, and the pool area is where the social energy gathers.
Long Beach sits two minutes away on foot. Beach bars, swimming spots, cafes and restaurants are close enough that a scooter becomes optional, which is useful after a hot afternoon by the pool.
Private rooms are basic and poorly insulated, with mosquitoes getting indoors. The entrance and reception setup are hard to spot from the road, so arrive with the map pin saved and do not set off carrying a backpack at sunset looking for a signboard.
