The private rooms are large, bright and properly air-conditioned, with notably comfortable beds – a rare bit of civilisation after a long ferry, minivan or scooter day. Dorms and larger rooms keep the place in backpacker-budget territory, while the lobby has coffee, cold drinks and a small food setup.
Scooter hire, laundry, transport and island trips can all be sorted on site, which removes the usual Koh Lanta treasure hunt through handwritten signs. There is also a shared kitchen for anyone temporarily tired of pad Thai. The grey lobby cat has mastered the art of looking busy while doing absolutely nothing.
Stay here for a practical beach base with comfortable rooms and Klong Khong on the doorstep. Room 210 has no window, so book a brighter room if daylight matters to you.
