Horizon Bungalow Restaurant and Bar
Description
Sunset beers on the sand are Horizon’s strongest card, followed closely by the live band, karaoke and fire-show nights. The bar sits right on the beach, with a proper feet-in-the-sand view.
Pat’s place is built for long evenings: cold beers, cocktails, soft drinks and a crowd that stays after sunset. Wednesday and Sunday bring the bigger party energy, while other nights lean toward singalong covers and casual beach-bar chatter. The resident puppy and Egyptian cat also patrol the premises with the calm authority of creatures who own the lease.
Food is not why I send anyone here. Chicken nuggets and fries do the job for children, but the Thai dishes and curries are uneven, with small portions at restaurant prices. Eat elsewhere, then settle in for drinks and music.
Beachfront bungalows put the sea outside the door and the bar soundtrack nearby, so book them for atmosphere, not silence. The seafront rooms catch the sunset properly, and the evening show is the whole point.
