Enda Lanta Bungalows
Description
Six bungalows sit in a leafy garden off Long Beach, with enough planting between them that your neighbour’s balcony never becomes part of your holiday. The one-bedroom units are spacious and bright, with air-con, a fridge, kitchenette space, a proper desk, filtered water and balconies made for doing very little efficiently.
The larger two-bedroom bungalow has a living room and equipped kitchen, putting it firmly on the shortlist for families settling in for a longer stay. Beds are notably good, bathrooms are modern, and the air-con is positioned so it doesn’t blast your face in the middle of the night – a small engineering triumph in tropical accommodation.
Nong runs the place with a calm, practical grip on island logistics. Laundry, home-cooked food, an honesty bar and scooter hire are on site, while Long Beach, restaurants and Lanta Animal Welfare are close by once you’ve got wheels.
The garden is the point here: quiet mornings, birds in the trees and a little separation from the main-road circus. It sits back from the beach, so use the on-site 125cc scooters and leave the long roadside walk to anyone collecting merit badges.
