Baan Kantiang See Villas
Description
Eight hillside villas look straight across Kantiang Bay, with broad terraces, hammocks and enough room for families to stop negotiating over suitcase space. The Purple Villa has the most private terrace of the coloured villas; Blue, Green and Red all get the sea view.
The saltwater infinity pool is deliberately quiet, with no soundtrack competing against the bay below. Inside, the villas have proper kitchens, drinking water, air-conditioning, fans and indoor-outdoor showers. Firm beds, full-size dining tables and wide verandas make this a strong choice for a few slow days.
Kantiang village sits below the property, with restaurants, bars, shops and the beach down the hill. There is no restaurant on site, so use the kitchen, collect supplies in the village, or arrange food delivery before the evening. Black Swan is a reliable dinner stop at the bottom.
That hill is steep enough to make luggage feel personally insulting. Rent a scooter or car, especially with children, groceries or any intention of returning from dinner without becoming an unpaid mountain goat.
