Anda Lanta Resort
Description
Beachfront Villa 101 puts the sand and the restaurant within a few steps, with a wide sea view that does not need a motivational quote attached. Anda Lanta sits in a quiet bay on Koh Lanta’s southern side, edged by forest and far from the louder strip around Saladan.
The beach is the draw: loungers, kayaks, a sheltered snorkeling area and enough room to disappear for an afternoon. Rocks sit in the water, so reef shoes earn their luggage space. The massage pavilion faces the sea, where the soundtrack is waves.
Villas are spacious, private and spread along leafy paths. Beach-view rooms are worth paying for, especially for families needing room to spread out; the two-bedroom villas handle five without turning bedtime into a hostage negotiation.
Anda Pearl does far better than the standard resort-menu obligation, with a substantial breakfast buffet and proper Thai food by the beach. Scooter rental on site matters because nearby shops and restaurants are thin on the ground, and the southern roads are best explored under your own steam.
