The Dive House
Description
Waterfront rooms beside Saladan Pier put The Dive House in the right spot for an early boat departure, a late ferry arrival, or a dive course with Blue Planet Divers. The west-coast beaches are a scooter ride away, but the pier, restaurants and rental shops are right outside.
Rooms are basic, spacious and practical, with air-conditioning, TV, mini fridge, plenty of plugs and enough storage for wet gear. Ask for a waterfront room: the extra outdoor space and sea view do more for the stay than another beige wall ever could.
Divers get the best deal here. Gear can dry, alarms can ring early, and the morning dive-school bustle starts close by. Light sleepers should choose a room away from the walkway; conversations outside carry straight through the doors.
The building sits over the water on a pier structure, so there can be a slight sway underfoot. It is part guesthouse, part launchpad, and far more useful than romantic – which is precisely the point in Saladan.
