Secret Beach
Description
A sandy swimming channel runs through the middle of this tiny bay, with rocks and coral guarding both sides like they own the place. Park near Beautiful Beach and follow the short shaded path south; the final stretch feels satisfyingly off-map without requiring a machete.
Secret Beach is for a quiet float, a nap under the trees, and sunset with room to spread out. The bay stays small, so it feels private fast. Crabs work the sand, monkeys sometimes inspect parked scooters, and the rocks make the edges more useful for sitting than charging into the sea barefoot.
Swim from the central sandy section and wear water shoes if you have them. Waves hit hard in rough season, turning this into a look-at-it beach, lazy swim. There are no facilities on the sand, so bring water and take every scrap back out.
The best bit is the walk in from Beautiful Beach: tall trees, a narrow path, then a pocket of coast that catches late light properly. Sunset here has none of the usual beach-front choreography – just sea, rocks and a small bay getting on with it.
