Description
Thirteen- and eighteen-kilo LG machines turn a week’s worth of island laundry into one sensible stop. The wash cycles are short, the gas dryers run hot, and clothes come out dry.
The place is spotless, bright, and built for self-service without requiring a degree in appliance archaeology. English instructions are on hand, notes convert into 10-baht coins on site, and liquid detergent or softener is available from the vending machine.
Wash and dry are separate jobs, so allow time to move the load between machines. The smaller 13-kilo drum can swallow a backpacker’s entire wardrobe with room left for poor decisions, while the larger machines suit families, dive gear-free beach towels, and anyone who has discovered humidity’s views on cotton.
Leave backpacks and bulky non-clothing items out of the machines. Grab breakfast nearby during the cycle, then return for properly dry clothes before heading back to the beach road.
