Description
Rocky jungle climbs, muddy ruts and a proper circular practice track give Lanta ATV Adventure more bite than the usual gentle holiday lap. The route heads into the trees, up steep slopes and through sections that reward a steady throttle over heroic optimism.
A few practice laps come before the trail, so first-timers can get comfortable with the weight and controls. More confident riders get the tougher lines and faster pace, while younger passengers ride behind an adult. Helmets are provided, and guides ride front and back to keep the group together.
Families with older kids do well here, especially if half the group wants adrenaline and the other half wants a sensible introduction. The jungle terrain gets properly slippery after rain, which turns the route into a brown, grinning mess.
Alif is the guide to ask for on the trail. Fresh fruit and cold water after the ride are a welcome reset once the dust, or mud, has won the argument.
