Fruit Tree Lodge & Coffee Shop
Description
The vegan brownie is soft, dark, and properly chocolatey, not a sad health-food brick wearing cocoa powder. Pair it with an espresso, because the milk-heavy cappuccino buries the coffee more thoroughly than a scooter key at the bottom of a beach bag.
Cakes are the headline: chocolate cheesecake, lemon blueberry cake, Biscoff cheesecake, carrot cake, apple-cinnamon cupcakes, chocolate-covered dates, and a gluten-free blueberry muffin worth returning for. The kitchen also handles breakfast well, with avocado toast on homemade bread, quiche, falafel wraps, pancakes, fruit shakes, and an avocado-cheddar sandwich that has no business being this satisfying.
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free choices take up proper space here. Kombucha, chia tea, oat milk, almond milk, protein balls, and homemade caramel and peanut-butter sauces keep the cabinet interesting beyond the usual banana bread hostage situation.
The loft upstairs is the useful bit: settle in with a laptop, a coffee, and a cake, then leave before you acquire permanent residency. Fruit Tree earns its place as Saladan’s breakfast-and-bakes stop, especially for Foodies and anyone tired of choosing between decent coffee and a decent dessert.
