BIAB infills, gel extensions and hand-painted chilli nails are handled with the sort of precision that turns a reference photo into the thing itself. Mai is the name to know here, especially for fine line art, 3D details and a neat, natural gel finish.
The colour wall is enormous, so arrive with a vague idea or lose half an hour to tiny bottles of possibility. Builder gel repairs and reshaping are a strong call after weeks of beach, scooter grips and saltwater – Koh Lanta is not kind to a fresh manicure.
The studio sits on the main road and stays well ventilated, which matters when you’re settling in for detailed work. There is tattoo art in the back, and it shows in the control of the nail designs; small painted details don’t come out looking like they were drawn during a ferry crossing.
Book through WhatsApp, particularly for nail art, extensions or a manicure and pedicure together. Gel is the focus here, while standard polish is not part of the regular menu. Som, the orange cat, occasionally appears as the studio’s least qualified but most popular supervisor.
