Khum Laanta Resort
Description
The larger bungalows at Khum Laanta come with proper living space: kitchens, dining corners, big bathrooms and porches that don’t feel borrowed from a corridor. Family units have multiple beds, while the standalone bungalows give you more privacy around the pool.
The pool is the centre of the place, long enough for an actual swim and cleaned each morning. Air conditioning, fridges, kettles and daily water top-ups cover the useful basics, while the fittings in some older rooms show their age.
The beach sits a short walk down a dirt track behind the resort. It is better for sunset, shells and sea glass than swimming, since the nearshore water is rocky; beach bars and fire shows take over once the light drops.
Eing and the reception team can sort scooters, laundry, taxis and island trips without turning your holiday into a scavenger hunt. Wi-Fi barely reaches inside the rooms, so save the laptop work for somewhere else and use the bungalow kitchen for a lazy breakfast before the beach.
