The building has a tidy, modern feel, with spacious common areas and comfortable beds that do the unglamorous job properly. It is a solid base for beach days and island exploring, not a resort compound with pools, cocktails and a wristband system.
Shoes come off at reception, so sandals save a small amount of footwear faff. Basil next door is the obvious dinner answer after a late arrival.
