Navaa Bungalow
Description
Breakfast arrives outside your bungalow each morning, changing between Thai-style plates and vegetarian-friendly options. Navaa is a cheap, rustic stay in the island’s middle stretch, five minutes on foot from the nearest beach and close enough to use as a base for roaming north or south.
The rooms are simple, private bathrooms, kettles and roomy beds cover the essentials. Some units have firmer mattresses, and gaps beneath doors mean mosquitoes are part of the evening cast, so pack repellent and keep the room sealed.
Ali and the family keep the place running as a small home stay, with scooters, laundry, airport vans and island trips available around the bungalow. The little on-site restaurant handles easy lunches, breakfasts and occasional barbecue nights, which is handy after a day on the bike.
Solo travellers who want a family-run base. Ask Ali about island history and quieter routes; he has lived on Lanta his whole life.
