Description
The half-outdoor bathrooms are the headline here: hot water, greenery, twin shower heads in some bungalows, and enough space that you won’t be elbowing the sink while brushing your teeth. The rooms are bright, new, and properly equipped with huge beds, cotton sheets, air-con, a fridge, kettle, minibar, shelves, hooks, hangers and a drying rack.
Janina – Nina – has put thought into the bits most bungalow stays forget. A self-serve station keeps drinking water, tea, coffee, towels and toilet paper close at hand, while a washing machine sits nearby for anyone who has finally admitted their clothes need help. Stained glass, plants and warm lighting stop the rooms feeling like another beige box with a key.
The setting is quiet and leafy in the middle of the island, with monkeys occasionally visible from the terrace and a cat conducting evening snack inspections. Khlong Nin Beach is a short walk via the small path, while a Thai street-food spot sits across the road and nearby cafés cover the caffeine requirement.
Scooter rental is available on site, which matters here; the bungalow is set back from the beach and Koh Lanta rewards wheels. Bungalow 1 has an older shower fitting, but the rest of the place is designed with the sort of practical care that turns a two-night plan into a fortnight.
