Description
Rooms 4 and 5 sit right over the water, with private balconies facing the bay and a sunrise that arrives before Old Town has found its coffee. At high tide, the sea comes close beneath the bungalow; at low tide, mangroves take over the view.
Lanta Old Town’s walking street is a short stroll away for seafood dinners, bars, coffee, and the little wooden-shop circuit. The property stays quiet after dinner, with dark enough skies for stars and none of the west-coast beach-road racket. The southern end of the island is easy to explore from here by scooter or taxi.
Rooms are spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, with working showers and beds on the firm Thai side of the mattress spectrum. Storage space is limited, so a compact bag saves you from turning the floor into a temporary wardrobe. There is no breakfast, restaurant, or beach setup on site.
The east coast is about still water, mangroves, and Old Town character, not swimming. Bring cash for payment, settle onto the balcony before first light, and let the bay do its quiet little trick.
