Seagull Villa
Description
A private terrace looking over gardens and forest is the point of Seagull Villa. This is a quiet hillside base for switching off after days on Lanta’s roads, with proper beds, air conditioning, a fridge, and kitchens that make longer stays feel civilised.
The villas sit back from the busier strips, close enough to walk to nearby restaurants but far enough out that a scooter changes the whole equation. Heiko and his wife rent scooters on site, which saves the usual island hunt for keys, helmets, and somebody’s cousin with a clipboard.
One villa has an outdoor kitchen. It is a lovely idea in daylight, then mosquitoes arrive for their evening shift with impressive punctuality. Pick an indoor kitchen if you plan to cook after sunset.
The setting is green, calm and residential, with the forest close behind the property. Seagull Villa fits long-stay couples, solo workers, and anyone connected with Lanta Animal Welfare; beach-bar hunters should plant themselves nearer the sand.
