Description
Sea-view balconies look across a strip of lawn to the beach, with Saladan Pier close enough to remove most departure-day theatre. The town-facing rooms are quieter on the wallet; the sea-view upgrade is the one to take if available.
Rooms are large, clean and plainly furnished, with strong air-conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, blackout curtains and mosquito screens. Balconies have drying hooks for swimwear and plastic chairs that are far more comfortable than their job description suggests. The decor is dated, the beds run firm, and neither fact matters much after a day on a boat.
Saladan Walking Street, coffee shops, restaurants and the pier sit within a short walk. Peter and the family can arrange snorkelling trips, transfers, scooters and laundry, which is useful when the ferry timetable starts behaving like a riddle written by a cat.
Choose Aloha Lanta for a practical Saladan base with beach access and room to spread out, not for polished resort theatrics. The lawn-side beach and easy pier run make it especially handy for short stays before or after island-hopping.
