Twin Bay Resort
Description
Beachfront suites at Twin Bay put a wide terrace and the Andaman right outside the door, with steps straight onto the sand in the best rooms. The beach here is quiet, broad enough for morning walks, and particularly good for families because the water stays calm near shore.
The pool faces the sea and has both shaded loungers and full sun, plus a bar close enough to prevent unnecessary exertion. Beachfront bungalows and suites are the rooms to target; the larger villas add private-pool space for a group that wants to spread out.
Twin Bay sits off the main road at the northern end of Koh Lanta, between two beaches. That buys peace, sunsets, and a short ride to Saladan for shops and dinner. Bring mosquito repellent for the beachfront rooms; nature has also booked a terrace table.
Breakfast is simple, while Breezy Bites covers easy resort meals by the water. The beds are notably large and firm, the pillows are excellent, and the whole place suits a slow beach week far better than a nightlife mission.
