Rest & Relax Hostel
Description
Saladan Pier sits five to ten minutes away on foot, which makes Rest & Relax Hostel a practical first stop after the ferry. Walking Street, cheap eats, a supermarket, ATM and dive shops are all close enough to keep the first day pleasantly low-effort.
The dorm beds are roomy, with privacy curtains and balconies looking over Saladan town. Air conditioning runs in the dorms at night, and the common areas are hot during the day, so save laptop sessions for a café unless tropical sauna is your productivity method.
Breakfast, coffee, tea and cooked food are available on site, with filling portions and simple Thai hostel staples. The food is cheap enough to use between ferry logistics and scooter plans.
Scooter rental next door is the useful extra here, especially for heading south after a night near the pier. Check the fuel level, tyres, lights and existing marks before leaving Saladan; the road to the beaches gets longer, darker and more interesting than it first appears.
