Floor-to-ceiling glass, private verandas and a rubber plantation outside the door give K Home Lanta Villas its own little patch of inland Lanta. The rooms are new, spacious and minimal, with proper air-con and beds that make early ferry mornings feel needlessly ambitious.
Each apartment has a small kitchenette with pots, plates and enough space to cook a simple dinner. Building A’s upstairs rooms get the broadest view over the trees, while cats patrol the grounds with the quiet confidence of creatures paying no rent.
The setting sits well back from the main road, around the Nui Beach and Khlong Nin side of the island. It is properly quiet here, apart from birds, cockerels and monkeys in the surrounding forest. A scooter is part of the deal, not a lifestyle flourish; the access road is dusty and rough, and the main strip is inland from the villas.
Choose it for a calm base with modern rooms and a kitchen, especially for a few nights away from the beach-road churn. The stove and bathroom fittings are basic, with weak water pressure and temperamental hot water, so this is better for simple stays than culinary experiments. Keep food inside and windows secured around the monkeys.
