Noble House Beach Resort
Description
The pool sits almost on Khlong Dao Beach, with palms around the edge and a separate shallow section for children. Sunset from the water is the resort’s best trick, and it remains effective even after a day involving sand in every known pocket.
Rooms are straightforward: air conditioning, fridge, kettle, hairdryer and enough space to base a beach week around. Choose a sea-view bungalow for the strongest outlook; the farther rooms still sit a short walk from the sand. Bring shower gel and something to hang wet swimwear on, because the rooms keep their minimalist convictions.
Breakfast leans Western, with fruit, eggs cooked to order and a buffet spread. The on-site restaurant handles Thai food, international plates and beach-bar lunches well, so lunch can stay within flip-flop range.
Khlong Dao’s long, soft beach and the cluster of nearby bars make this a calmer north-island base than the late-night strips farther south. Mook Anda Bar is a worthwhile left turn along the beach after sunset, while Noble House’s own restaurant closes early.
