Peaceful Resort
Description
The palm-shaded pool is Peaceful Resort’s centrepiece, with bungalows and rooms set around it. By afternoon, the shade reaches the water and turns the pool area into the best place to spend a hot hour doing absolutely nothing useful.
Long Beach is a short walk away, and the restaurant strip sits close enough for dinner without needing a scooter. Big C and 7-Eleven are farther along the road, so stock up during a scooter run.
Rooms are roomy, with large beds, air conditioning and mosquito nets in the bungalows. Bathrooms are basic, and shower pressure is light; this is a well-priced Long Beach base, not a marble-and-rainfall-shower production.
Breakfast covers the morning without becoming a holiday memory, while the small restaurant also has fresh juices and lunch. Scooter hire is available on site, which is useful because Koh Lanta becomes much more interesting once you leave the Long Beach strip behind.
