Lanta Loft
Description
Loft 2A and the other apartment-style units trade hotel-box living for proper space, a kitchen, and a pool downstairs. The quiet setup suits a week or three, especially if cooking breakfast and spreading out matters more than a minibar with delusions of grandeur.
Klong Khong beach is over 600 metres away, so this is scooter territory. The walk is manageable, but two wheels put Long Beach, Saladan, and the southern coves within easy reach. Parking is built around scooters; arriving in a car involves more optimism than planning.
The apartments are best for self-contained stays: families who need room, couples staying beyond a long weekend, and remote workers who prefer a living area to a bed with a side table. The pool gives you a useful reset between island loops, and the equipped kitchens keep every meal from becoming another roadside menu negotiation.
Choose Lanta Loft for a calm base with more square metres than the usual beach strip accommodation. It sits back from the sand, but that distance buys quiet, space, and a kitchen worth using.
