Description
Large fridges, microwaves and proper kitchenettes give PS Lanta Resort more usefulness than the usual sleep-shower-repeat bungalow. The rooms are new, spacious and sharply kept, with strong air-con, hot showers, comfortable beds, Netflix and fast Wi-Fi.
The pool is the centrepiece after a beach run, tucked into a quiet, green setting off the main road. Jungle edges bring birds and monkeys into view, while the resort itself stays calm enough for reading, working or doing absolutely nothing with commitment.
A scooter turns the location into a strength. Beaches sit a short ride away, and the central position makes it easy to explore both Long Beach and the southern end without relocating every second night.
PS Lanta fits longer stays particularly well: fridge space for supermarket runs, laundry on site, reliable Wi-Fi and rooms built for spreading out. It is not for anyone determined to walk to every beach and restaurant; Koh Lanta’s scooter economy remains undefeated, for reasons nobody has managed to explain to a pavement.
Ask about transport or scooter arrangements before arrival, especially for a late check-in, as the resort sits back from the main road.
