Description
A proper bungalow base near Relax Bay, with big rooms, private terraces and enough space to unpack without living out of a backpack. The larger cottages have a separate kitchenette, fridge and seating area, which matters on a longer Koh Lanta stay.
Relax Bay sits a few minutes down the lane for swimming and sunset, while Phra Ae’s restaurants are close enough for an easy evening wander. The main road is nearby too, so a scooter turns the rest of the island into a straightforward outing.
Book an air-conditioned bungalow. The non-air-con rooms get hot and sticky, as tropical islands continue their long-running refusal to install central heating in reverse.
The setting is quiet and private, with bungalows, small families or anyone staying long enough to value a usable kitchen. The mosque call to prayer carries clearly here, and bungalow number 3 has the best-equipped kitchen setup for self-catering.
