Vegetarians get far more than sad fried rice. Coated tofu appears in Penang, Massaman and green curry, while tofu larb, crispy eggplant and enoki mushrooms give the table some crunch. Plant-based sauces are used for vegetarian dishes, and gluten-free cooking is handled with care.
Dinner fills fast and the waiting area becomes part of the evening’s entertainment. Lunch is calmer, but Yawee is worth timing around for the khao soi and that fried chicken with herbs.
