The absence of a TV is the point here. Tree Space Lanta gives you a new, roomy bungalow, a seriously comfortable bed and a small balcony, then leaves the island to do the entertaining.
Khlong Nin Beach sits about a minute away, with sunset bars, restaurants and massage shops along the sand. The pool is the useful middle ground between beach sessions, especially when the sea has delivered enough salt to your eyebrows.
Rooms are fresh, bright and properly spacious, with soft bedding, good hairdryers and daily drinking water. A water dispenser at reception saves a few plastic bottles, while housekeeping and towel changes happen on request.
The setting stays quiet at night, yet 7-Eleven and the Khlong Nin strip are close enough for breakfast supplies or a late snack. A scooter opens up the rest of Koh Lanta; Tree Space is a neat base for beach time without signing up for a full-scale resort.
