Tiny House
Description
Nui Beach sits a short walk downhill from these new little cabins, with jungle and mountain views replacing the usual roadside bungalow scenery. The south-island setting is quiet, leafy and properly away from the Klong Nin strip.
Each cabin has air-conditioning, a large bed, a good shower and a clean, modern finish. Palm trees, banana plants, flowers and mulberries fill the garden; cats, goats and the occasional monkey add local colour without being asked to sign in.
Breakfast and proper Thai food are available nearby from the family, and scooters can be arranged on-site. Airport, taxi and boat transfers can also be sorted before the island’s transport maths becomes unnecessarily exciting.
Tiny House suits a few days of beach-hopping around Nui, Kantiang and the southern coast, then returning somewhere quiet enough to hear the roosters start their shift. Klong Nin’s restaurants, shops and ATMs are a short scooter ride away, while the cabins stay tucked beside the rainforest.
