Description
Pork rice soup arrives with ginger, proper meatballs and enough depth to make breakfast feel less like a logistical necessity. The chicken khao soi has a thick heap of crisp noodles, while the Massaman curry, chicken satay and garlic fried rice give the Thai side of the menu real purpose.
The tables sit right on Khlong Dao Beach, facing the sunset and the sort of sea view that makes a cold lemonade disappear at alarming speed. Pick the sand-side seats for drinks, or move indoors for air-conditioning and a quieter meal.
Vegetarian and vegan dishes take up serious menu space, not one forlorn stir-fry hiding near the back. Tofu basil, grilled seafood and squid-ink pasta broaden the options; pizza exists, though it is not why anyone sensible crosses Khlong Dao.
A separate work area has sockets everywhere, decent iced coffee and enough room to open a laptop without colonising a dinner table. Card payment is available, and the beachfront tables are the prize at sunset.
