Description
Chicken korma with naan, beef kheema, vindaloo and Massaman curry are the reason Suza Hut keeps pulling people back to Long Beach. The Indian cooking has proper spice, thick sauces and bread worth tearing apart with your hands. Tikka masala is the safe bet; vindaloo has more bite.
Breakfast has more ambition than most beach huts. House-made granola bowls, sourdough with eggs and French toast pair well with a properly pulled espresso or Thai iced coffee. The coffee machine is not decorative, which already puts it ahead of half the island.
The menu wanders through Thai curries, seafood pizza, burgers, pasta and hot-plate dishes, so groups with incompatible cravings can stop negotiating. Gai ka na grob is the Thai order to remember, while chu chi and panang curries land far better than a token Thai section has any right to.
Tables sit right on the sand at Long Beach, with laid-back 70s and 80s music. Card payments carry a 3% fee, so cash is cleaner for a quick coffee or breakfast.
