Description

Scooters, island transfers and boat tickets all sit under one roof near Saladan Pier, which is exactly where they should be after a ferry crossing with bags and no appetite for faffing about.

The useful bit is the combination: collect a scooter for the island roads, sort a four-island trip, then book the boat onwards to Ao Nang or another island. Monthly rentals are available, including semi-automatic bikes, so longer stays do not need to become a daily negotiation with transport.

The bikes are used machines, with the scuffs and wear that come from living on an island full of sandy lanes. Check the bodywork, tyres and controls before leaving, photograph anything already marked, and keep the fuel level in mind. Basic travel sense, sadly still rarer than a helmet that fits.

English is spoken clearly, and WhatsApp handles extensions without requiring a return trip to the counter. Message a day before returning a scooter so the handover is arranged properly; the pier-side location is particularly handy for collecting a bike straight off the ferry.
