Description

Khao soi and tom yum noodle soup are the food orders with a proper following here, served beside the rocks at Long Beach’s northern tip. The spicy seafood salad also lands well, and grilled fish suits a long sunset session better than anything involving cutlery gymnastics.

Beanbags face the sea, beach volleyball sits nearby, and the bar’s rock-side setting gives the place more character than the standard sand-and-stools operation. After dark, the rocks fill with hefty hermit crabs, while lights, music and the occasional live set turn the far end of Long Beach into its own small outpost.

Sunset is the draw, obviously, but staying into the evening is the smarter call. The large projector, DJ nights and beach-party energy give it a social edge without swallowing the whole beach in bass. Bring a torch for the crab patrol – they have claimed the rocks with impressive confidence.

Reach it through the Lanta Resort gate and keep walking to the beach’s northern end. Cocktails, cold beer and a beanbag are enough for a lazy afternoon; khao soi earns the return visit.
