Description

Two balconies, a separate kitchen and a large smart TV put Phumin Apartment firmly in long-stay territory. The rooms have a proper fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and cooktop, plus enough counter space to cook without balancing dinner on a suitcase.

The beach sits about seven minutes away on foot, with halal breakfast stalls and rental shops close to the main road. Families and remote workers get the useful bits here: big rooms, a sheltered terrace and a kitchen that handles more than instant noodles.

Monkeys patrol the courtyard and will investigate anything left on the balcony. Keep fruit, snacks and loose belongings indoors; they are charming right up to the point they acquire your breakfast.

The mosque beside the building broadcasts the early prayer before sunrise, loudly and without consulting your sleep schedule. Light sleepers should pack earplugs; everyone else gets one of the better-value self-catering bases around this stretch of Koh Lanta.
