Description
Panang curry is the order here, especially the tofu version: thick, fragrant and built for the rice that arrives beside it. Green curry brings proper heat, while the seafood Pad Thai handles the familiar beach-dinner brief without collapsing into sweet noodles and disappointment.
The bar sits under big shade trees on Klong Khong, with low tables, wood, thatch and enough room to settle in for a long lunch. Coffee comes with oat milk, cocktails have some force behind them, and the passion fruit margarita is a good excuse to stop pretending you only came for food.
Sunset is the draw, though low tide turns the sea into a broad, textured flat. It still photographs well, particularly from the shoreline seats, and the reggae soundtrack keeps the mood loose without demanding that anyone acquire dreadlocks.
