Description

Hot showers with proper water pressure, beds that don’t sit under the air-con blast, and new bathrooms put Naranta House ahead of Koh Lanta’s usual budget-room lottery. The rooms are large, modern and fitted with a fridge, TV and kettle, with enough space to unpack.

Set back from the main road near Saladan, it stays quiet while keeping the pier, beach, night market and cheap local food within walking distance. That central position is the useful bit: ferry arrival, dinner and a scooter hire can all happen without turning the first day into a transport puzzle.

The property still has the fresh-build feel, including areas under construction. Book here for a clean, comfortable base in the north of the island, especially for a longer stay where a decent shower and a quiet room stop being luxuries and become basic civilisation.

Scooters are available on site, handy for reaching Long Beach, Klong Khong and the island’s southern runs without negotiating Saladan’s roadside rental parade.
