Description
Gin fizz, strong cocktails and a generous glass of wine are the order of business at Mookanda Bar, formerly Pierdolnik Bar. It sits right on the sand with the sea in front and sunset doing most of the decorating.
The front tables are the prize. Settle in before the sun reaches the water, keep an eye on the horizon, and let the Polish reggae and beach-bar soundtrack carry the evening along. The cocktail pours have real weight, so this is not the place for a delicate little holiday spritz pretending to be a drink.
Cocktails and beer are the focus. The bar suits an after-dinner stop with a proper drink in hand, a small group, or a couple willing to linger through sunset and into the music later on.
The place has changed names, so look for Mookanda Bar along the beach. Those ocean-facing seats disappear first, because apparently everyone has independently discovered that facing the sea is preferable to facing a wall.
