Description

Mango coffee sounds like someone dropped fruit into an espresso during a power cut. Here, it works: cool, sharp and far more sensible than it has any right to be. The matcha latte stays smooth and lightly sweet, while dark and medium-roast double espressos have enough character to keep serious coffee drinkers occupied.

The seats face straight over the sea from a clifftop perch beside Pebble Homestay. Bean bags, cold drinks and a slice of chocolate-peanut cake can swallow an entire late morning with alarming efficiency. It stays quiet enough to hear the water below, which is rare on an island where every decent viewpoint eventually acquires a scooter convoy.

Art runs the place with the easy confidence of someone who knows the view has already done half the work. Coffee and cake are the right call here; dinner appears only for Pebble guests on special arrangements.

The lane is easy to miss from the main road and initially looks private. Keep following it toward Pebble Homestay, park the bike near the end, and look for the little terrace above the water.
