Light Worker Guest House Bar & Restaurant
Description
Mango smoothies, a two-minute beach walk and a 7-Eleven across the road cover most of the useful geography at Light Worker. The little bar-cafe has the relaxed, linger-for-a-bit feel that suits a post-swim drink or a pause before heading along the main road.
The rooms and cottages are cosy, well equipped and quiet despite the roadside address. It is a practical base for Klong Khong-area beach days, with the shop opposite saving the usual late-night hunt for water, sunscreen or emergency crisps.
Ying runs the place and is the person to ask about scooter rental, boat tickets and souvenirs. The setup feels more personal than a standard guesthouse, without turning your holiday into a group project (a mercy in any country).
Stay here for an easygoing local base with a beach close enough to make a second swim seem perfectly reasonable. The mango smoothie is the right excuse to stop even when you are sleeping elsewhere.
